This is a ambitious #project for providing drinking water to #Challakere taluk from the Vani Vilas Sagar.A Water Treatment Plant has been built under this project.Karnataka government will undertake a 230 km lift irrigation water project at a cost of Rs 2250 crore to supply drinking water from Tungabhadra reservoir in Ballari district to over a thousand parched villages and towns in Tumakuru,Chitradurga and Ballari Districts. |
